“Be The Changemaker” is a volunteer-based leadership and social impact program by SESR Foundation. It invites individuals from various walks of life to contribute to nation-building through health, education, environment, digital safety, and policy awareness initiatives — at zero cost.
No. The program is absolutely free to join. There is no fee or donation required to become a part of the SESR Changemaker community.
Anyone with a passion for social change can join — including students, professionals, teachers, doctors, journalists, digital experts, start-up founders, social workers, corporate leaders, retired officers, and responsible citizens.
Yes. All active participants, especially students, are eligible to receive official certificates of participation and contribution from SESR Foundation.
Participation is voluntary. However, if your expertise aligns with any paid workshops, training programs, or research assignments, you will be compensated with a prescribed professional fee as per government norms.
Changemakers may work on awareness campaigns, grassroots surveys, school outreach, community development, digital literacy drives, health events, environmental projects, policy advocacy, or serve as Think Tank advisors.
You’ll get national recognition, valuable networking, certification, real-world experience, visibility, and potential access to scholarships, fellowships, and micro-grants (especially for students).
There’s no fixed time commitment. You can contribute based on your availability, interest, and the needs of ongoing SESR campaigns or projects.
Yes, remote participation is encouraged. SESR Foundation offers both online and on-ground opportunities, so you can engage from anywhere in India (or abroad).
